Dr Gunaseelan Rajan is an accomplished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Implantologist, Researcher and Academic Leader based in Chennai, India. As the Medical Director of Rajan Dental Institute, he has played an important role in transforming the institute into a centre of excellence in dental care.

With a career spanning four decades, Dr. Gunaseelan has established himself a satrailblazer in advanced dental and maxillofacial surgical procedures. He was the first maxillofacial surgeon in India to perform groundbreaking techniques including zygomatic implant surgery, software- guided surgeries and innovative teeth in a day procedure.

He has contributed extensively to international peer-reviewed journals, advancing the scientific understanding of oral and maxillofacial surgery and implantology. Through the Chennai Dental Research Foundation, he has fostered a culture of innovation, supported cutting-edge research and training the next generation of dental professionals.
